Alresford is located on the B3047, just off the A31 main road. Access to the M3 and M27 motorways is at Winchester (M3 junction 9) and Lyndhurst (M27 junction 1) respectively, providing excellent connections to places such as Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke and London.
By bus
National Express coaches from West Meon (approximately 6 miles from Alresford) provide direct services to Portsmouth and London Victoria.
Local bus services are run by Stagecoach and Cango.
South West Trains services connect London Waterloo with Alton, from where you can connect to the Watercress Line heritage railway to Alresford.
